The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is happening in France this week. And the event's red carpet is dripping in high jewelry from the world's most revered jewelers, as usual.
Cannes boasts several photo calls a day featuring A-listers and notable up-and-comers. And celebs and their stylist tend to go big for them fashion-wise —piling on the latest (and occasionally custom) designer apparel and fine jewelry to pose for photographs that ultimately get blasted around the world through news outlets, trickling down to social media.
All the venerable jewelry brands, including Chopard, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co., and Cartier, have come out to play on the various red carpets this week. And Parisian heritage fine jewelry brand Boucheron has scored some notable placements showcasing pieces from a collection that won't be released to the public until June 24.
