Pomellato Expands Nudo Collection With Toi et Moi Rings
When Italian find jewelry brand Pomellato debuted its Nudo collection in 2001, it nudged the art of gem-setting into the future.
The proprietary Nudo setting didn’t use prongs or bezels to hold its colored gemstones in place. Instead, the atelier's craftspeople found a miraculous way to secure the colored stones from the bottom only, which allowed them to set the gems high on the jewel—as free and unfettered and glorious as blazing candles on a birthday cake.
And now the brand's added a notable new style to the range. Available June 1, Nudo toi et moi rings offer an interesting twist on the classic two-stone design that's been in-demand for several years now.
As a reminder, toi et moi (translation: you and me) rings became the buzzy bridal style after actress Megan Fox and music artist Machine Gun Kelly displayed Fox's Stephen Webster-made diamond-and-emerald ring on Instagram in 2022 (the pair never tied the knot, but the ring was a social media smash).

The 18k gold Nudo toi et moi rings feature the familiar free-set colored gems—sky blue topaz and prasiolite—cut with 57 irregular facets, sitting opposite a hunk of artfully set diamond pavé. There's also an opulent version of the ring that features diamond pavé on both sides. Call it 2.0 toi et moi. Matching earrings round out the new offerings.
Stefano Cortecci, Pomellato’s gem master, sourced the stones for this collection, and the master goldsmiths at Casa Pomellato (the brand's atelier) make each jewel by hand. The collection launches June 1 in stores and online, with prices ranging from $7,550 to $24,000.
